Tomato Rasam Recipes | Easy South Indian Recipes | Rasam Recipe


Ingredients :
  • 3 big ripe tomatoes
  • 2 cups of dal water (boil dal in a cooker with excess water, mash the dal and use just the water)
  • Salt to taste
  • Peppercorns - 6 or 9
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Coarsely powder the pepper and jeera in a mortal-pestle
  • Mustard seeds - for the tadka
  • Curry leaves - for the tadka
  • Ghee - for the tadka
  • Fresh finely chopped coriander leaves - For garnishing
Method :
  • Boil the tomatoes and peel of the skin. Mash them till you get a nice rich pulp. In a round neck vessel, heat the pulp with a cup of water, salt and powdered pepper and jeera.
  • Bring it to boil and leave it on for another 2 minutes before adding the dal water. Reduce heat and wait till it starts to either froth or starts to steam. Remove from heat.
  • Heat ghee. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and a pinch of pepper powder (optional) and add it to the rasam.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.

Spicy Chinese Egg Fried Rice Recipes | Indian-Chinese Egg Fried Rice Free Tips


Ingredients:

  • Basmati rice- 2 cups
  • Finely chopped onions - 2 medium sized
  • Finely chopped french beans, carrot and green peas- 3/4cup
  • Egg-5
  • Salt - To Taste
  • Pepper- To Taste
  • GreenChili sauce - 1 1/2tsp
  • Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Olive oil-3tbsp

Method:

Heat 2tbsp of oil in a kadai . Fry the onions, french beans, sliced carrots, green peasalong with little salt, green chili sauce, soy sauce till the veges turn crisp. keep it aside.

Heat another kadai and add 1 tbsp of oil. Break the eggs into the kadai, add some
salt and keep frying till the egg becomes into small pieces.

Wash the rice and fry along with the fried vegetables.

Mix the fried egg into rice and add 3 1/2 cup of water and transfer this content
into a microwave safe dish.

Cook this rice in microwave for 23 mts on high.

Serve Hot with Tomatoe Sauce.

Ingredients :
 
  • Meat -1/4 kg
  • Onion -100 gram
  • Green chillies slit-5

Method :

  • In a pan roast cumin seeds in 3 tablespoons oil.
  • Add onion ,green chillies,meat,salt,turmeric powder.
  • Pour 2 cups water.
  • Close cooker. Bring to full pressure on high heat. Ruduce heat and cook for 20 minuts till oil shows separately.
  • Remove cooker from heat.Release pressure with slight lifting of vent weight .
  • Open cooker.
  • Add pepper powder.
  • Stir once,
  • Serve hot

Ingredients:

  •     Ragi Flour – 1 cup
  •     Onion – 1 cup (Chopped)
  •     Green Chilies – 5 (chopped)
  •     Few Curry leaves
  •     Salt as per requirement
  •     Oil to fry

Method :

  • Mix ragi flour, chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves, salt & water in a bowl together to obtain a solid state mixture. This mixture should not be too much solid but it should be little less drier than the chapathi or poori batter.
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Drop the small portions of ragi mixture to oil and deep fry it (till it become crispy). Repeat the procedure for the remaining mixture
