Ingredients:

  • Flour-2cups
  • Egg- 1
  • Sugar-1 cup (Powder the sugar for mixing easily)
  • Vanilla essense- 1 and 1/2 tsp
  • Oil- to fry
  • Rose shape spatula

Method:

  • Mix all the ingredients slowly one by one, add little water.
  • Make the mixture in to dosa batter consistency.
  • Heat the oil, keep the Rose shape Spatula for 2-3mts in oil.
  • Dip in the mixture till it get immense to 1/2 and place in hot oil.
  • After few seconds, try to shake little to drop the cookies in to the oil/with the help of  fork drop it into the oil.
  • Fry on both sides, let it cool for 5mts before you enjoy these cookies...
  • Make sure the spatula is hot(keep in oil for few seonds) before you dip it  inthe mixture for next cookie

Ingredients:

  • Kambu ­ 1 cup
  • rice ­ 2 tbsp
  • coconut (shredded) ­ 1/2 cup (optional)
  • cardamom powder ­ 1/2 tsp
  • jaggery (crushed) ­ 3/4 cup (or lesser)

Method:

  • Dry roast the kambu, rice till the kambu smells good.
  • Let it cool and powder it.
  • Add 1/2 cup water to jaggery and dissolve it by heating.
  • Filter and remove any impurities.
  • Pour the hot solution to a mixing bowl. Add the flour, cardamom powder and kambu
  • flour. Mix well to get something like hard chapathi dough. Take a ball and press well
  • inside the palm to get a rough oval shape. Grease an idly mold with very little sesame
  • oil and place the dumplings. Cook in idly cooker for 5 minutes

Healthy and Quick How to Make Sweet Potato and Apple Soup Recipe Free


Ingredients :

  •     3 medium – sweet potato
  •     3 medium – apple
  •     3 cup – chicken broth, low-sodium
  •     1 cup – apple cider
  •     2 teaspoon – cinnamon
  •     1 tablespoon – brown sugar
  •     1 medium – lemon
  •     1 tablespoon – sage, leaves
  •     1/8 teaspoon – salt
  •     tablespoon – black pepper, ground

Method :

  •     Cube sweet potatoes and apples and place them in a slow cooker.
  •     Add chicken stock, apple cider, cinnamon, brown sugar, lemon juice and sage.  Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
  •     Use a hand immersion blender and mix the ingredients in the slow cooker until creamy. Add salt & pepper to taste.

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe | Easy Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredient :

  • 1 (48 oz) can nonfat chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 -inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut in 8 slices
  • 3/4 pound boneless chicken breasts, cut in thin 3-inch-long strips
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms (or white button mushrooms)
  • 1/2 cup sliced grape tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Method :

  • Combine broth, soy sauce, sugar, Sriracha sauce, lime juice, and ginger and boil 5 minutes. 
  • Meanwhile, toss chicken with cornstarch until completely coated. 
  • Add chicken and mushrooms to broth and simmer 15 minutes. 
  • Remove the pan from the heat and stir in tomatoes. 
  • Pour soup over udon noodles cut in 2 pieces. 
  • Top with cilantro and Sriracha sauce. 
  • Let soup stand 2 to 3 minutes before serving.

Ingredients:

  •     Fish(Karimeen/Promphret/Chanad) 1/2 Kg
  •     Green chillies – 5 nos
  •     Onion – 1 no
  •     Tomato – 1 no
  •     Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp
  •     Garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
  •     Curry leaves – A few
  •     Tamarind(Puli) paste – 2 tsp
  •     Chilly powder – 1 1/2 tsp
  •     Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  •     Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  •     Pepper powder – 2 tsp
  •     Salt – As reqd
  •     Coconut oil – 3 tsp

Method:

  •     Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  •     Add green chilly paste followed by grated onion, tomato, ginger paste, garlic paste, curry leaves, tamarind paste, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and pepper powder.
  •     Saute well till onion and tomato blends well.
  •     Add salt and mix well.
  •     Add 1 1/2 cups of boiled water and allow it to boil.
  •     Allow it to boil for 2 – 3 mins.
  •     Add fish and cook for 5 mins.
  •     Top it with 1 tsp of coconut oil.

Ingredients :

  •     1/4 lb gooseberries (fresh or frozen)
  •     1 tbsp thinly sliced ginger pieces
  •     1 tbsp thinly sliced garlic pieces
  •     a few curry leaves
  •     1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  •     1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
  •     a pinch of brown sugar
  •     salt to taste
  •     1 tsp red chilli powder
  •     1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  •     1 cup boiled water
  •     2 tbsp vinegar
  •     4-6 tbsp oil

Method:

  •     In a pan, heat oil and add the mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds begin to splutter, add the fenugreek seeds and fry till brown.
  •     Add curry leaves, ginger and garlic pieces and fry till the pieces are crispy.
  •     Reduce the heat and add the spice powders and fry till brown.
  •     Add the gooseberries, salt and sugar and saute till the gooseberries are soft.
  •     Add the vinegar and hot water and cook a bit.
  •     When cool, transfer to an airtight container and leave it for about seven days before transferring to the refrigerator.

Ingredients :

  •     Semiya / sevai / vermicelli - 1/2 cup
  •     Milk - 2 cups
  •     Almonds - 4-5
  •     Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp (4 - 5 cardamoms)
  •     Ghee - 1 tsp
  •     Raisins - 8 -10
  •     Sugar - 2 to 3 tbsp, more or less according to taste.
  •     Saffron - few strands
Method :

  • In a deep thick bottomed pan, bring milk to boil. Keep stirring once in a while.
  • In another frying pan, add ghee, heat on medium heat. Reduce flame to low.
  • Add chopped cashew nut pieces. Fry till golden. Remove onto a plate.
  • Add raisins to the same ghee and fry till almonds are plump. Remove onto a plate.
  • Add broken sevai to the same ghee and keep stirring and frying till they are lightly golden pink. Take care not to brown or burn. Stirring continuously is important.
  • When the sevai roasting is done, add them to the boiling milk. Continue stirring and do not let the lumps form.
  • Sevai will get cooked in 4 - 5 minutes.
  • Add sugar. Keep stirring till sugar melts. Add the cashew nut pieces, raisins, cardamom powder, saffron strands.
  • Take off fire.

  • 2 cups - Urad Dal (skinned)

Method :

  • Soak the dal in water for 3-4 hours.

  • Place 2 heaped tbsp of the dal batter and flatten with your fingers.
  • Make a hole in the centre of the vada.
  • Pick up the vada carefully and slide it into the hot oil and deep fry till golden.

  • White Gram Dal - 500 GM
  • Water - 1 Litre

  • Finely grind the white gram dal with little water.

  • Squeeze the prepared batter into the oil through a thin layered doth.

  • Put the jilebi into the warm suger syrup.
  • Take out after they soak in the syrup for about 15 min.

  • Take a bowl add butter ,oregano and chilly flakes/powder .Mix till smooth paste.Apply this paste on both sides of bread and fry them till crispy.

Ingredient :

  •     5 eggs
  •     1 cup homemade applesauce (store bought should work too)
  •     ½ cup coconut flour
  •     2-3 TBSP cinnamon
  •     1 tsp baking soda

  •     ¼ cup coconut oil
  •     2 T honey

Method :

  •     Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  •     Grease a muffin pan with coconut oil.
  •     Put all ingredients into a medium sized bowl and mix with immersion blender or whisk until well mixed.
  •     Let sit 5 minutes.
  •     Use ⅓ cup measure to spoon into muffin tins.

Ingredients :

  
  •     Kovakka/Ivy Gourd (sliced lengthwise) – 1/2 kg
  •     Sliced Shallots (Kunjulli/Pearl Onions) – 6 to 8
  •     Grated Coconut  – 1 Cup
  •     Crushed Garlic – 4 cloves
  •     Grated Cumin (Jeera) – 1/4 tsp
  •     Slit Green Chillies – 4
  •     Turmeric – A pinch
  •     Red Chilly Powder – 1/4 tsp
  •     Salt – As Required
  •     Oil – 2 tbsp
  •     Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
  •     Curry Leaves – A sprig
Method :

  • Mix together ivy gourd pieces, coconut, turmeric powder, shallots, cumin, salt, garlic and green chillies using hands.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non stick pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves and saute for a minute.
  • Next add the ivy gourd coconut mixture and combine everything together.
  • Cover the pan and cook on low flame, stirring occasionally. Do not add water while cooking.
  • Add 1/4 tsp of chilly powder and mix well.
  • After around 20 mins, the kovakka will be cooked and crunchy. Remove the lid and stir fry for another 2-3 minutes on high flame till it is dry.

 Ingredients :


  •     2 cups pumpkin grated or ½ kg
  •     1/4 cup + 1 to 2 tbsp. sugar (adjust slightly)
  •     Few cashews or pistachios chopped
  •     1 to 2 tbsp. ghee
  •     generous pinch cardamom powder
  •     Few tbsp. milk (optional)
Methods :

  •     Add ghee or coconut oil to a hot pan and fry the nuts till golden. Keep them side.
  •     To the same pan, add grated pumpkin or cooked pumpkin (refer image step by step one). Fry for about 4 to 5 minutes till the raw smell goes off.
  •     Pour the milk if using and add cardamom powder. Cook until the milk is absorbed.
  •     Add sugar and cook till the sugar melts and the halwa thickens.
  •     Add fried cashews and garnish.

  •     Sweet Corn, cream style: 1 tin
  •     Sweet corn kernels: 1/2 cup (boiled)
  •     Vegetable stock: 1.25 litres (5 cups) OR water
  •     French beans: 8 (finely chopped)
  •     Cabbage: 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  •     Carrot: 1 (finely chopped)
  •     Cornflour: 2 1/2 tbsps (corn starch)
  •     Sugar: 3/4 tbsp
  •     Salt to taste
  •     White pepper powder: as required
  •     Spring onion greens: 3-4 tbsps (finely chopped)

Method :

  •     In a heavy bottomed vessel or wok, add the cream style sweet corn and vegetable stock or water. Mix.
  •     Add the chopped carrot, beans, cabbage, boiled corn and stir to mix. Cook for 5 mts on medium flame.
  •     Mix the cornflour in 4 tbsps of vegetable stock or water and keep aside.
  •     Add sugar and salt to the simmering soup and cook further for 3-4 mts. Add white pepper powder and   mix.
  •     Add the cornflour mixture and go on stirring till the soup thickens. Turn off heat and pour into soup bowls.
  •     Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.

Mango Yammy Jam Recipes Free | Homemade Mango Jam | Taste Mango Jam

Ingredients :

  •     2 mangoes (completely ripe) (resulted in about 4 cups of fruit pulp)
  •     1 cup sugar (increase depending on the tartness of the mango)
  •     2 Tbsp lemon juice
  •     1/2 tsp powdered cardamom
Method :

  • Peel the mangoes and extract the pulp or cut the flesh into small pieces (Toss the pit of course). Do not worry if there are some lumps of the fruits, it will eventually dissolve as the process goes by.
  • Take a heavy bottom pan; add the mango pulp on medium heat. Mine had good amount of mango juice and I waited for about 7-8 minutes before the water had evaporated.
  •  Add the sugar and then mix well. Stir in between and let the heating continue.
  •  After about 2o minutes when the water content has evaporated, it begins to thicken.
  •  Add the lemon juice and mix well. Continue for about 10 minutes to cook and allow it to thicken.
  • Please note that the jam thickens after it is cooled, so keep that in mind as well.
  • Finally add the powdered cardamom, mix well. Allow to cool and store in air tight container.

Ingredients :

  • Rice flour - 2 cups
  • Besan flour - 1/2 cup
  • Pottukadalai / Roasted gramdal - 1/2 cup
  • Black sesame seeds - 2 tsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Asafetida - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp + more if needed
  • Oil to deep fry

Method :

1. Grind pottukadalai to fine powder, sieve it and set aside.
2. Mix rice flour, besan flour, pottukadalai powder, red chilli powder, sesame seeds, butter, asafetida and salt in a bowl.
3. Add water little by little to the flour mixture and knead to soft non sticky dough.
4. Heat oil in a kadai or deep pan to deep fry, meanwhile cover dough with damp cloth to prevent from drying.
5. Grease murukku press with little butter, place ribbon pakoda plate( with two straight line holes) inside the murukku press and fill murukku press with dough.
6. Squeeze ribbon pakoda dough  into hot oil in round shape.
7. Deep fry ribbon pakoda on low heat until golden in color and bubbling stops.
8. Drain ribbon pakoda on paper towel and once cooled to room temperature store it in air tight box.

  •     2 Sweet Potatoes medium sized (approx. 1 1/4 cup mashed sweet potato)
  •     5 tbsp Sugar or as needed (depends on the sweetness of the sweet potatoes)
  •     4 - 5 tbsp Ghee
  •     1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  •     A pinch of Saffron
  •     2 tbsp Milk
  •     Cashews
  •     Raisins

Method :

  •     Boil and peel the sweet potatoes. Mash them well and set aside.
  •     Soak the saffron in warm milk for a few minutes. Crush it well and set aside.
  •     Heat ghee in a pan.
  •     Add and fry the cashews until golden color. Then add raisins and fry until they plump up. Remove   from the pan and keep them aside.
  •     In the same ghee, add the mashed sweet potato and mix well.
  •     Saute for 4 - 5 minutes.
  •     Add the sugar and saute till the sugar dissolves completely.
  •     Then add saffron milk and cardamom powder and combine well.
  •     Reduce the flame to low and keep on stirring the halwa for 8 - 10 minutes.
  •     Then add the roasted cashews and raisins and mix.
  •     Turn off the flame.
  •     Serve the sweet potato halwa
