Aval Kesari Taste Recipes Free | How to Make Taste Aval Kesari Free Tips


Ingredients :

  • Aval/Avalakki/Poha/ Beaten Rice
  • (Use the thicker variety) - 1 cup
  • Sugar                           - 1/2 Cup
  • Cardomom                   - 2 or 3 pods Powdered
  • Ghee                            - 5 tsps
  • Cashewnuts                  - 5 broken to bits

Method:

  • In a pan, heat 2 tsp ghee and fry the Aval till it turns light brown in color.  pulse it in the Mixer to a coarse rava consistency.
  • Heat  11/2 - 2 cups of water(depending on the requirement) and once the water boils, add the aval and cook it till it is soft
  • Add sugar and keep stirring till the mix is thickens evenly ensuring no lumps. Add 2 spoons of ghee while it is cooking..
  • Once the mixture thickens remove from heat.
  • Heat a tsp ghee, fry the broken cashew and pour it over the Kesari.
